Several skills and gears are more powerful with more mobs around, so works on bigger groups whenever possible. Use Bone Armor for damage and stun whenever you can. Bane of the Stricken, Gem of Efficacious Toxin, or whatever good legendary gems you have. Convention of Elements: unlike other classes that have skills of 4 elemental types, Necromancers only have 3! Therefore, CoE only rotates among 3 elements, which means it provides higher damage buff on average than other classes! Golemskin Breeches: mainly for the damage reduction. The Traveler's Pledge and The Compass Rose set. Parthan Defenders: stun from Bone Armor, Golem's active skill, and even follower's skill / gear synergizes well with this. Dayntee's Binding belt and Trag'Oul's Corroded Fang 1H Scythe in cube: this combo provides good damage reduction, free curses and damage buff to cursed mobs. The damage enhancement is even better for stunned mobs. Krysbin's Sentence and Bane of the Trapped: this combo provides very good damage buff! Since this is a melee build, mobs are always slowed by BotT. Bloodtide Blade 2H Scythe: greatly improves damage of Death Nova against groups of mobs. 6 pieces of Inarius set (or 5 with Ring of Royal Grandeur): the core of this build! This is a Inarius build I constructed based on Death Nova. Death Nova deals 20 - 30% increased damage for every enemy within 15 yards.
